SAUVIGNON - Gently aromatic, nervous, elegant and smooth textured

Focus on areas vines

bunch of grapes French vine of unknown origin since there are two main grape-growing areas: Bordelais and the Loire Valley. It is not possible to determine which one was earlier.
This vine produces a fine, slightly perfumed, aromatic, dry, spirituous and soft white wine of great personality.
France produces the best white wines in the Loire Valley; in Sauternes, with the late harvest and blended with Semillon it produces the well-famous and “highly expensive” fortified and sweet wines.
Like all French vines, Sauvignon has also spread to all grape-growing and wine production locations like California, South Africa and Australia. Nevertheless, it has shown a lesser adaptability compared with Chardonnay.
Grown in inland Rimini, it has shown to give excellent products with all the typical vine features.
In Italy it becomes part of several DOC wines (wines with Registered Designation of Origin).
It is also blended with Colli di Rimini Biancame and Colli di Rimini Rosso wines as a complementary vine.
